Habadekuk was awarded ”Album of the Year” at Danish Music Award Folk 2011 for their debut album ”Hopsadaddy”. Fiddler Kristian Bugge was crowned ”Folk Artist of the Year” at the same occasion. They also won Best Group at NORD ’09, the Nordic championships in folk music 2009. In 2013 they received another DMA award "The Tradition Award of the Year" and again in November 2014 they went home with two statuettes: "Album of the Year” and "The Tradition Award of the Year". Latest Fiddler Kristian Bugge was awarded ”Danish Folk Musician of the Year 2016”, with that Habadekuk has taken home no less than 6 Danish Music Awards (Danish Grammys)!

The band has wowed audiences across Europe and Canada.
